To login you need an ORCID iD, a unique identifier for researchers.
Not sure if you have an ORCID id?
If you don't have an ORCID iD or don't know what it is, search for yourself at orcid.org. Your institution may have registered you already. If not, you can register yourself.
Once you have an ORCID iD, you can use either that ID or the email address affiliated with your ORCID iD to log in to the submission tool.
Looking for more information on preparing your data and metadata for submission?
Guidance about preparing your data and metadata for submission can be found in the
"Data Submission" section of BCO-DMO's "How To?" help pages. From there, you'll find sub-sections describing the required
metadata for datasets, tips for
organizing data tables, and information about contributing specific types of data like
models, software, or code.
Looking for instructions on how to submit datasets or register projects using this submission tool?
"Submission Tool" section of BCO-DMO's "How To?" pages has detailed instructions for submitting your datasets and registering projects using this tool. Brief instructions and examples are also built into the tool itself as you walk through each step. On each page, click on the "?" icon in the upper right corner for more help about that page.
Do you need another option for submission?
If you encounter any difficulty using this online submission tool, you can instead fill out the offline metadata forms. See more info on our "How To"
